Hrizantema- All Inclusive Hotel

Would not return...however Animation team are fantastic, they go above & beyond to include everyone of all ages. They are friendly, fun & accommodating...the highlight of the hotel, especially DiDi & Ramone! Reception staff are rude, Huge language barrier which doesn't exactly help you to feel comfortable and safe. Pool bar staff, except for Mil & Redgie, are all unprofessional and favour certain nationalities, making English feel not welcome. Cleaning staff are beyond RUDE. Not one nice thing to say about cleaning staff at all. They helped themselves into our room with the signs being on the door turned to DO NOT DISTURB. Refusing to give towels, shouting at us in Bulgarian knowing we couldn't understand what they were saying, they would then talk to each other whilst we were still standing there refusing to leave until we were given towels. They would persistently knock our door in the morning, with the sign saying DO NOT DISTURB and then proceed to laugh at us. Unprofessional & made us feel uncomfortable about leaving the room. Food...not much variety, all dishes were greasy and luke warm. Very repetitive, didnt cater for all nationalities. The food hall is too small for the amount of guests so it becomes overcrowded which means there is a lot of pushing, shoving & waiting for tables. The food always ran out so everybody started to click on so would be rushing to get in as it first opened which meant there was a lot of plates being wasted as people were taking too much. If you are a fussy eater or have dietary requirements this hotel is definitely not for you, the language barrier doesn't help with this either. Sunbed wars happened daily, there is a rule about no towels being allowed to be on the beds until 10am but after our 3rd day we realised everyone was doing it and it became difficult to get a decent spot where we could see our children. We then did do the reserving beds, however we wouldn't if the rule was enforced as we would of queued up like we do when we have been to other places. The pool itself is pretty dangerous in parts due to loose floor tiles, all of us got cuts on feet, knees & hands so this really needs looking at, also a chair that is in the pool along the bar, one is missing a seat, leaving the metal pole in the water freestanding, but not very noticeable until close up & its very sharp, this could be a accident waiting to happen. Guests aren't following rules as they aren't enforced enough, so the pool area becomes a seagul trap due to them leaving food around or feeding the seaguls. I understand this is the guests, but if staff kept on top of things this could be reduced massively. Snack bar was poor hygeine, wasps & flies all over the food as its not covered properly. Pool snack bar- literally had on a rolling day of sausage, chicken, kebab, meatballs & fries & the pizza snack bar was the same pizzas everyday alongside fries, hotdogs & baguettes..the hotdogs are noway cooked properly though. Horrible experience, hotel max 2 stars not 4. Stuff is grumpy and rude. In reception nobody talks in english well, so it's was very hard to communicate. Food tastles and the same everyday, and the worst that not enough sitting spaces in the restoran, so most of the time we was leaving our plates and had meal in the town. Pool is dirty, and there is no rule not to leave the towels on the sun beds, so people "reservating" sunbeds beside swimming pool in evening time, so even in early morning there is no free space, if you will be lucky and will find one it's not for long because it's permitted to smoke beside kids swimming pool lying on sunbeds. If you wish coffee in the morning at your room, you lucky because there is coffee machine, but empty. The capsules for that coffee machine you must pre-order in reception and one capsule cost 4 levas so around 2 eu, it's a total joke. Kids club- no kids club, room with broken toys and animator who is just standing and watching his phone. Elevators is very old and very dangerous, the sensor on the doors is not working properly so the door shut down quickly and so strong that the buggy stuck between the doors a few times. After first night I went to reception and ask for normal kettle instead of that useless coffee machine, I needed hot water to do formula for baby, but the answer was top: they can't provide a kettle because they have just one in the reception but if really need it can come even in the middle of night and use it, so generous. Manager is hard to describe, talking voice up, rude and just reall face of that hotel. All my stay in there i was trying my best to ignore all minuses and be positive but honestly the best part of my holiday was then we was outside with luggages waiting for transfer to airport. I'm really not recommending this place for families with kids and for how's who just don't wanna ruin their vacation.

Basic room and amenities(only shower gel and slippers). Poor variety of food and repetitive, but good report price-quality. Pool area was ok.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE ENGLISH Does not cater for the English We was the only English in this hotel Very little Englsh spoken by the staff Pool Bar thanks Shanni and Mil for you hard work and making us feel welcome. The rest of the staff made us feel unwanted and did not like English. We always qued at the bar, unlike other natinalities, the other bar staff would ignore us and serve other nationalaties before us. One of the ladys would see us stood there and turn her back to use her phone. Englsh music was very limited around the poolbar, when English music did eventually get played it was cut half way through the song by the bar staff. Snack bar the ladies who serve the pizza was very welcoming,but the man and lady who served the pannini, hotdogs and chips was very impolite towards us. The food from the snack bar was lovely. Breakfast was ok Evening meal not great we ate out Rooms very clean towels changed dialy bedding changed every 2nd day rooms clean daily. Staff speak very little english and didnt really engage with us English. Reception very helpful Sun beds We always managed to get a sunbed on the grass area. the sunbeds on this area are very uncomfortable and need cushions. If you want a sunbed around the pool with the more comfy beds you need to be up at 5am, some leave towels on the beds day and night. Entertainment staf Through the day was brilliant, very limited in the evenings. We always went out. Entertaningment staff always worked very hard.

Never again, payed for 7 nights.. Landed at 3am, so we missed evening meal etc but i do understand not the hotels fault.. Hotel is catered towards eastern europeans which i get..The 2 beds were the hardest beds ever.. Room service was hit & miss..99.9% of the staff were superb..On the weds went to reception to ask if we could have a late check out on the saturday as our flight wasnt till 1am sunday morning, lady replied yes ok you can till 11pm... saturday morning bang bang on the door @ 11am, a lady said we had to get out of the room, i asked why we have a late check out, she replied no hotel is full... so we had to pack took key to reception, then was told bracelets needed taking off... so we had nowhere to stay or eat that day.. also had 2 children with us.. Just on the basis of being told we had late check out then told no, my 12 freinds have allready canceled this hotel in August

The holiday at this hotel was amazing. The food was plentiful and delicious. The entertainers were amazing and the program was great too. The drinks and all the staff were the best. The only downside was the older gym and the harder pull-out bed with the added mattress, but it was manageable. Truly one of the best hotels I have ever experienced. :)
